NXP SC18IS606 I2C bus to SPI bridge
NXP SC18IS606 I2C bus to SPI bridge
The NXP SC18IS606 I2C Bus to SPI Bridge is designed to be used as an interface between a microcontroller's standard I2C bus and SPI bus. The I2C bus to SPI bridge allows the MCU to communicate directly with SPI devices over the I2C bus. The SC18IS606 can also be used as an I2C bus target transmitter or target receiver as well as an SPI controller. The device controls all SPI bus specific sequences, protocols and timing. SC18IS606 has its own internal oscillator and supports three SPI chip select outputs, which can be configured as GPIO when not used as SPI chip select.
The NXP SC18IS606 I2C bus to SPI bridge is available in a compact TSSOP16 package and operates over a -40°C-+105°C temperature range.
